1. Acceptable Use

By accessing Semurg you agree to use the platform lawfully, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You shall not:

  • Use the platform to process, store, or transmit data that you do not have lawful authority to handle.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any Semurg component.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on the platform infrastructure or APIs.
  • Use the platform to generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or violates the rights of others.
  • Share access credentials, API keys, or session tokens with unauthorised third parties.

2. Atom Billing

Semurg usage is metered in atoms. Atoms are consumed by LLM inference, PII shield, document ingestion, RAG queries, and agent executions.

  • Atom balances are non-refundable once consumed.
  • Unused prepaid atoms expire 12 months from purchase unless otherwise stated.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Rate changes are communicated at least 30 days in advance.

3. Intellectual Property and AI Output Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload and all AI-generated outputs produced using your inputs on the Platform. Semurg does not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs. Model weights and provider APIs are licensed under their respective provider terms.

4. Data Export on Termination

Upon termination of your account, you may export all your data within 30 days via Settings → Export or the GET /api/user/export endpoint. After 30 days, data will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Semurg shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Total aggregate liability shall not exceed amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Semurg is not liable for the accuracy or suitability of LLM-generated outputs.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Semurg operating entity is incorporated. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
